The international driving license is issued by the Automobile Club du Luxembourg (ACL) to anyone meeting the following two conditions:
Hold a driving license issued by a member state of the European Economic Area (EEA).
Have their main residence in Luxembourg.
Documents to provide:
Valid driving license issued by an EEA member state, or a recent certified copy of it.
Recent residence certificate (less than three months old), issued by the municipality or via myguichet.lu.
Recent passport-size photo.
Fees:
ACL members: €16
Non-members: €30
The license is issued immediately on-site upon presentation of the required documents.
